With the aim to support small wool producers, Mota was developed as a collaboration with several ranching families, each contributing the finest wool their flocks had to offer in order to produce this very special yarn.
Mota is a collection made entirely in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, and is named to honor the town of Mota del Cuervo, where WoolDreamers has it's roots. Thanks to the proximity of the farms to the mill, Mota is produced with one of the smallest carbon footprints on the market.
Spun from carefully selected fleeces from each ranch, Mota shows that even the smallest ranches can produce valuable wools. The resulting yarn is a soft and lofty 3-ply DK that will give each project a special connection to the origins of their materials.
