Get started on the path to creating your own treasured handknits! Whether you’ve never picked up needles before or you’ve dabbled in the past and are in need of a refresher, this class will give you a solid foundation of the fundamentals of knitting. We’ll cover key topics including casting on, binding off, the knit and the purl stitch, plus how to reading a simple pattern, and unknitting and picking up dropped stitches so you’re able to fix mistakes when they happen (and they happen to the best of us). There will also be a short discussion on gauge and how to find patterns.

Class meets once weekly on Sundays from 1-3 pm. All materials are included.
